In 2015 Elli created Concept Art for the quirky story she had imagined; a world where little Snot creatures live inside the human nostril. In this story there is a Snot who is convinced that his life of solidarity is perfect just the way it is. But when neighbours move in next door, this grumpy Snot finds that perhaps these sticky intruders aren't that bad after all.
Tayla Colley and Elli Byrne teamed up a few years later to further 'pick' at this idea. Creating a Pitch Bible for a children's TV series in 2017, the pair designed a charming and quirky show that would appeal to young kids. With the aim of teaching good morals and fun human anatomy, Elli and Tayla designed characters, concept art, episodes and storyboards. The following images show some of Elli's favourite pages from the Pitch Bible book they made.
Crafting Models and Textures
Tayla and Elli used paper, fabric, clay, faux fur, paint and hair gel to create models and textures that were photographed and manipulated in photoshop. The following images show some of the objects used to create unique looking art for this project.
